Every Sunday, I go for a morning run. During the week I’m not as consistent as I would like to be, so on Sundays when I run, I try to make up for it by going long and far.
The past few Sundays I’ve been running across bridges into different parts of Brooklyn. These runs take up to 3 hours or so! On the bridge and at the other end I always come across some great streetart which I enjoy looking at (as I’m sure you’ve noticed in my instagram or previous blog posts).
Today, I ran across the Williamsburg bridge for the first time. Here is some streetart that caught my eye.
What I saw as I was running back to Manhattan was definitely my favorite.
I couldn’t help but stop and snap a few photos. (Yes, I’m the girl who will stop and take photos during my run).
Unfiltered. Stream of consciousness. honest. It almost felt like New York was talking to me as I was running.
If you haven’t walked across the Williamsburg bridge yet, I suggest you try it sometime! Although the view wasn’t as great as the one you’d see on the Manhattan or Brooklyn bridge, it wasn’t as crowded and there’s still a lot to look at.
How would you fill in the blanks?
Have a great week!
