It’s nice to have the classics and some educational non-fiction on your book shelf but sometimes you need a book that gives you a quick kick in the butt and a boost of motivation. A friend of mine recommended this to me and it’s a book I flip through whenever I’m not reading Lean In.
It’s a book of logical answers to everyday questions through the lens of a creative advertising genius. Recommended for anyone who aspires to succeed (which I know you do because otherwise I don’t think you’d be reading this), it’s short and easy to read for days when you feel like you don’t want to start.
Here’s a little taste of it:
“Your vision of where or who you want to be is the greatest asset you have”- (third page of the book) and
“There are no short cuts to any place worth going”- Beverly Sills (last page of book)
As for the good stuff in between, you’ll have to find out for yourself.
